Pnina Tornai’s EDEN 2027 Couture Turns Roses into Runway Drama

Pnina Tornai brought EDEN, her 2027 couture collection, to New York Bridal Fashion Week on October 13, 2026. Listed on the Fall 2027 calendar, the collection unfolded in a runway show at Halo NYC in Manhattan’s Financial District, according to The Knot’s contemporary coverage. In that account, the botanical theme accommodates both delicacy and drama, rather than prescribing one kind of bridal look.

The Knot reports that the opening look paired a Chantilly-lace bodysuit, worked with hand-applied beads and droplet crystals, with an airy organza skirt. Roses subsequently appeared at the hips, along halter ties and across a train. Their placement is significant: rather than serving only as surface decoration, the blooms helped establish the proportions and focal points of individual looks.

Among the publication’s highlighted gowns were a satin mermaid with a ruffled basque waist and large hip flowers, and a black strapless fit-and-flare finished with peach taffeta roses. Fringed, hand-painted floral shawls extended the botanical theme into accessories. Two ballerinas in short blush dresses also appeared, bringing dance into a show already concerned with the movement of light fabrics.

A separate October 14 segment on FOX 5 New York offered a closer introduction to the collection through Tornai herself. The broadcaster highlighted a raw-silk ball gown with handmade flowers, a hand-dyed blush butterfly dress, and a red-and-white statement look in Italian silk organza. Together, these examples show how EDEN’s floral vocabulary could move between a substantial fabric, a delicately tinted treatment and a much bolder colour pairing.

That breadth sits within an established design language. Kleinfeld’s official designer profile identifies corsetry as a central feature of Tornai’s work and describes a range stretching from clean-lined dresses to hand-embroidered ball gowns. Seen against that background, EDEN’s hand-worked flowers develop an existing tension in the label: fitted construction on one side, expansive romance on the other.

The collection also enters a wider conversation about colour and proportion. FashionUnited’s Fall/Winter 2027 report includes Tornai among its examples of butter yellow, blush pink and pronounced hip volume. Those selections place the collection within the season’s broader experimentation, while FOX 5 characterises Tornai’s approach as resistant to chasing trends.

EDEN’s strongest proposition is therefore variety within a recognisable point of view. There is more than one way to interpret its romantic mood: handmade flowers can suggest delicacy, while a decisive red-and-white contrast offers a more assertive expression. The common thread is a willingness to make bridal dressing feel personal, visible and deliberately expressive.
