Paper Anniversary: Preta Gil and Rodrigo Godoy
Preta Gil and Rodrigo Godoy celebrated their first wedding anniversary on May 12. What a lovely couple! To mark their paper anniversary, they chose to renew their vows in a very romantic celebration. The ceremony took place in Trancoso, at São João Batista Church in the Quadrado, where they received a blessing from the local priest, Friar Denilson.
Preta Gil's Paper Anniversary
Preta wore a lace dress with wide sleeves and wore her curly hair loose, topped with a floral crown. On her nails, the singer wore a polish from her own brand called “Azul Lua de Mel” (“Honeymoon Blue”)—a particularly fitting name.
The celebration continued at Pousada Segredos de Trancoso. There was a dessert table with sweets by Guta Gula Guloseria and Brigadeiros de Maria, as well as traditional bem-casados by Confet!Doceria, personalized by Petit Poá with the couple's names and an outline of the church in the Quadrado.
Petit Poá also created the cake, topped with a representation of the church. The singer's signature “diamond's family” motif, symbolizing the bonds of love and friendship, decorated its two tiers. The menu was prepared by chef Bruno Dizek.
Guests received a personalized wooden box decorated with lace and the celebration's visual identity as a keepsake.
Defleur Decorações created the rustic décor, featuring arrangements of potted orchids. After the festivities, captured on film by Valiense Filmes, Preta and Rodrigo went to rest at Pousada Tutabel, with services credited to Carlos Ture Vanessa Albuquergue Transfer.
