Cecilie Bahnsen Spring/Summer 2027: Volume, Romance and Everyday Lightness

Cecilie Bahnsen presented Spring/Summer 2027 in Paris on 1 October 2026. The collection returns to the designer’s distinctive vocabulary of volume, delicacy and engineered romance while keeping movement and everyday wearability at the center.

Silhouette and construction
Sculpted dresses, translucent layers and dimensional surfaces create silhouettes that are expressive without feeling heavy. The tension between technical construction and softness gives the collection its recognisable identity.

The season’s direction
Spring/Summer 2027 continues Bahnsen’s project of making romantic volume feel contemporary. The runway is light, tactile and precise, with craftsmanship serving movement rather than decoration alone.

The designer named the season Any Given Day, presenting it during Paris Fashion Week as a wardrobe that can move between everyday situations. The official collection notes place craft and ease in dialogue: delicately worked surfaces and romantic volume need not be reserved for evening or occasion dressing.
That approach changes the relationship between structure and movement. Roomier pieces can be worn with relaxed layers, while intricate textures gain energy when paired with practical wardrobe elements. Rather than abandoning its distinctive lightness, the house explores how a romantic silhouette can adjust to the demands and spontaneity of a full day.
