Updated: Oct 30
An English-American Celebration
The wedding was designed to feel relaxed and inviting while remaining unmistakably elegant.

A Dusty Blue and Pale Pink Palette
Delphiniums, roses, hydrangea, oxypetalum, waxflower and stocks carried the color story across the main wedding day.

Repurposed Designs
Floral centers from the welcome dinner were reused across mantlepieces, lounge furniture and poseur tables, creating continuity across events.

Design Analysis: Delphiniums and Soft Blues at Hedsor House
This wedding at Hedsor House celebrated a British-American union through a relaxed interpretation of English garden florals. Lavender Green Flowers centered the main palette on dusty blue and pale pink, integrating seasonal flowers into furniture, linens and the venue's established architecture. The scheme was intended to feel welcoming rather than overly formal, despite the grandeur of the house.

The welcome party took place outdoors on the south lawn. Moss was used as an undulating table element with Quicksand roses, pale-blue oxypetalum and white waxflower, while small stone urns linked the tables to the historic setting. The following wedding day emphasized the couple's fondness for delphiniums and expanded the pastel scheme with roses and hydrangea.

Floral designs from the first evening were repurposed across mantelpieces, lounges and cocktail tables for the main day. This created continuity while avoiding the appearance of the exact same installation in every room. The couple also used a different setting for the church ceremony, making the transitions between events important.
