Graff Icon: A Halo of Diamond Light
The Graff Icon approach explores the visual impact of a central diamond surrounded by a precise constellation of smaller stones.

The design language
The halo becomes an architectural element rather than an ornament alone. It amplifies the play of light around the centre and brings an expressive contour to the engagement ring.

The bridal perspective
For a wedding ensemble, the proportions and height of a halo ring deserve special attention when choosing the accompanying band.
Craftsmanship and lasting significance
A diamond engagement ring invites close attention to craftsmanship: the geometry of the mounting, the finish of precious metal, the relationship of each stone to its setting and the comfort of a jewel intended to be worn for years. These considerations are best appreciated in person, under different lighting conditions.

The icönik perspective: the strongest bridal jewelry allows personal meaning to emerge from excellent proportion and a recognizable design rather than from spectacle alone.
The Icon setting: a modern Graff signature
The Icon setting takes its name from an exceptional gemstone: the 90.97-carat D Flawless Graff Icon diamond, cut and polished by the house in 2000. Its contemporary design surrounds a round or cushion-cut central stone with a halo of pavé diamonds, transforming the traditional solitaire into a more architectural composition without sacrificing the presence of the primary gem.

Graff describes four polished prongs that elevate the central diamond, allowing light to enter from beneath as well as above. The pavé extends across the halo, beneath the main stone and onto the gallery and band. This continuity means the ring changes character according to the viewing angle: a crisp central silhouette from the front and a more intricate structure from the side.
The halo is more than a sparkling border. By carefully controlling the gaps between small stones, the setting creates an almost uninterrupted field of brilliance. For the wearer, this distinctive outline makes the engagement ring a strong visual statement even when paired with a plain wedding band. The best companion will respect the gallery’s height and allow the centre stone sufficient space.
