Uma Wang Spring/Summer 2027: Holy Spirit

Uma Wang presented the Spring/Summer 2027 collection, “Holy Spirit,” in Paris on 1 October 2026. The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode documents a 36-look runway, framed around a tension between the sacred and the earthly.

Holy Spirit
The collection approaches clothing as a carrier of memory, movement and emotion. Draped silhouettes and layered surfaces give the runway a suspended quality, while the scale and weight of individual garments keep that atmosphere connected to the body.

Between the sacred and the earthly
Rather than treating spirituality as literal costume, “Holy Spirit” works through contrast: loose, collapsing layers meet more structured passages, and rich texture is interrupted by flashes of colour. The effect is contemplative without becoming static.

A 36-look procession
The official FHCM lookbook shows the collection as a continuous 36-look progression. Its rhythm depends on repetition and variation in drape, volume and surface, allowing the idea of suspension between material and immaterial states to develop across the full runway.
