The Opus Suite at The Berkeley by André Fu Studio: A Super-Suite in André Fu Studio’s Berkeley Design Chronicle
A flowing London hotel suite connects generous living spaces with a bamboo-lined study and private rooms.
A London suite with a residential outlook
André Fu’s Opus Suite at The Berkeley is a 2013 London project planned around residential comfort. The studio’s archive describes a 2,600-square-foot suite with 270-degree views towards Hyde Park and Knightsbridge.

Connected spaces for living
Rather than presenting one large, undifferentiated interior, Fu arranged a sequence of balanced spaces within a flowing plan. The living room includes a contemporary fireplace, while a bamboo-lined study adjoins the main bedroom.

Intimacy through detail
The official photographs move from generous lounge seating to a long dining table, a quiet desk and a stone bathroom. Textured upholstery, warm surfaces and carefully placed lighting support the suite’s emphasis on comfort and intimacy.
