Mira Mikati Checks Into Hôtel des Rêves for Spring 2027

Mira Mikati’s Spring 2027 collection imagines a hotel stay that can last as long as its guest wishes. Vogue introduces the season as Hôtel des Rêves and identifies the photographs’ setting as La Bionda on Spain’s Costa Brava. The lookbook turns that starting point into a sequence of rooms, doorways, terraces and beach scenes, with the clothes supplying their own vivid points of colour.

A Holiday Wardrobe in Motion

The photographs are unusually active for a collection presentation. A model leans across a doorway, stretches along a window seat or stands inside a bath; elsewhere, a beach chair and a parasol become part of the composition. The poses make the clothes seem involved in a day rather than arranged for a static inspection. Loose shirts, shorts and easy dresses suit that setting without all looking interchangeable.

Blue and yellow recur with particular force. A bright blue coat makes a broad area of colour before small floral decorations interrupt it. Yellow-and-white stripes travel across a relaxed matching combination, while a longer striped dress uses a more varied, pastel palette. These are different ways of making a simple shape expressive: one bold surface, repeated lines, or a smaller detail placed where the eye will find it.

Details With a Personal Scale

A close view of a blue denim zip jacket shows how direct the decoration can be. A large yellow flower sits on one side, cherries on the other, with small stitched words below. A multicoloured bead necklace continues the palette near the face. The jacket itself remains familiar, which gives the motifs enough space to read as individual gestures.

Other images use cartoon-like figures, flowers and travel references as accents on pockets, tops and skirts. The size matters. A small illustrated detail can reward a closer look, while a broad striped surface works from across a room. The collection moves between those distances instead of relying on one continuous, all-over print.

Colour in the Setting

A green tailored outfit stands against a darker patterned wall, and pale pink cloth spreads across a bed in another image. The lookbook repeatedly lets the room intensify a garment’s colour. At the beach, the palette has a different effect: blue fabric answers the sky and sea, while brighter details stand away from the sand and rock.

The strongest proposition is the freedom to mix these moods. Tailoring can be playful, denim can carry a small story, and an easy dress can feel considered through colour and proportion. Hôtel des Rêves gives the collection a setting, but the clothes remain clear enough to imagine beyond it.
