Britney Spears and Sam Asghari

Pop singer Britney Spears and model Sam Asghari met in 2016, on the recording of the music video for the song Slumber Party. After a few months, they met and since then they haven't let go.

At the wedding proposal, Sam presented Britney with a diamond solitaire. The word Lioness (lioness) was engraved on the ring – her affectionate nickname. Britney Spears and Sam Asghari's engagement announcement took place in September 2021, exactly two months before the singer got rid of her father's guardianship.

The little princess of international pop and her prince got married last June 9th in style, with an intimate and charming ceremony held at the singer's home in Los Angeles. The couple hired celebrity event producer Jeffrey Best of Best Events to plan their wedding.

According to People magazine, the celebration was quick, lasting around ten minutes and had about 60 guests, including some famous friends, such as Madonna, Paris Hilton, Kathy Hilton and Drew Barrymore. Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, the singer's sons with Kevin Federline, were not at the ceremony. An unusual "guest" tried to invade the party: Jason Alexander, the singer's first husband. He even did a live on Instagram, but was interrupted by security. Britney entered alone and went to the groom to the sound of "Can't Help Falling in Love", by Elvis Presley.

During the celebration, Britney changed clothes four times. The dress chosen for the exchange of vows had many references to the 90s and was created especially for her by Donatella Versace – who is a longtime friend of hers. It was an ivory-white silk model with an off-the-shoulder neckline, straight cut and waisted.

The dress also had a beautiful long train and deep slit. The look was completed with tulle gloves and a choker in the same color as the dress, with a gemstone brooch in the centre, round earrings, a heart-shaped necklace in white gold and an oval diamond bracelet. The 15-foot-long veil covered the loose hairstyle. Afterwards, Britney opted for short and sensual looks to dance and enjoy the party with her husband and friends. One was a black blazer-style dress, followed by a tight-fitting red dress with a V-neck and fringe on the shoulders. To end the party, another red "blazer-dress".

Sam opted for a classic black tailored tuxedo, also by Versace. On his feet, he wore patent leather shoes without socks, in a cool and elegant style.

Britney chose a classic ring, studded with diamonds, and another with a marquise cut, to be the wedding rings, designed by Sthefanie Gottlieb. They matched the engagement ring. Sam opted for a platinum band with a brushed central finish and polished sides.

Like a true fairy tale, Britney Spears arrived at the ceremony in a beautiful carriage, adorned with roses and pulled by a white horse with golden hooves.

The decoration did not leave anything to be desired and was composed of roses all over the back of the altar, at the entrance and in the way with high arrangements. Pink, white, cream and gold were the tones chosen for the big day. Dj Albert was responsible for the evening's soundtrack and took the opportunity to play remixed songs by the bride herself, such as Toxic, as well as songs by special guests, such as Madonna's Like a Virgin.

Delighted, the couple left the party in a white Rolls Royce, decorated with roses and with the phrase “Just Married”. All the guests had wands that, when lit, formed a “silver rain”.

It was a very Britney wedding!
