Style and influence are shaped by far more than appearance. Confidence, creativity, cultural impact and the courage to live authentically can make a public figure genuinely inspiring. This editorial celebrates LGBTQ+ personalities whose work has influenced entertainment, fashion, music, sport and social conversation.
The historical version of this article promised a ranking of 100 gay men but contained only nine entries and mixed several different identities. Rather than expanding an inaccurate label, Icönik revised the feature into a transparent and inclusive selection without ranking people by identity.

Why this feature matters
Representation is strongest when it respects the identities of the people being featured. This revised edition celebrates individuality without reducing LGBTQ+ public figures to a single label or presenting a subjective selection as a definitive ranking.
