Greedilous Seoul Spring/Summer 2027 'The Little Prince': An Orchestra and Robots on the Runway
Greedilous presented Spring/Summer 2027 at Seoul Fashion Week with a narrative inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince. Designer Younhee Park translated the book’s cosmic imagery into a collection that also explored how new technologies might participate in fashion presentation.

The Collection and Its Design
Astronomical motifs, flowers and star-related graphics brought the story’s visual world to the clothing. A collaboration with Adidas connected the collection to sport, while the designer’s characteristic interest in strong surface decoration continued through a range of runway looks. The design analysis will benefit from examining the particular balance of fantasy and everyday function in the original photographs.

The Runway or Presentation
The production brought together the label, a children’s orchestra associated with Lotte, and robotics company Robotis. A walking robot appeared on the runway in collaborative looks, making technological performance part of the show rather than a secondary exhibition. Live music supplied a human counterpoint to the mechanical spectacle.

Why It Matters
The show provides a vivid record of Seoul fashion’s intersection with wider Korean cultural industries. Its unusual casting and staging deserve documentation alongside the garments, with precise video credits so that the production is not mistaken for an ordinary runway.
