The Upper House by André Fu Studio: A Residential Approach to Hong Kong Hospitality
The Upper House in Hong Kong established André Fu’s signature residential approach to hospitality through natural materials, balanced geometry and a restrained Asian sensibility.

A hotel with a residential sensibility
André Fu Studio dates the Hong Kong project to 2009 and places it within its hotel portfolio. Its residential character is a design approach: spaces are composed to feel personal and considered within a hospitality setting.

Rooms, art and arrival
The official photographs show a suite sitting area with neutral upholstery, timber furniture and city views. In the lounge, seating gathers around a central fireplace, while a sculptural vertical interior offers a different sense of scale.

The arrival court completes this selection of project views. Across the rooms and entrance, furniture, light and a restrained material palette form a consistent visual language.
