Patricia Vaks Creates a Celestial Wedding for Luiza Justus and Stephan Panico
Design Notes
The published coverage states that Patricia Vaks created personalized environments around a celestial theme focused on the sky.
The narrative concept connects the different wedding spaces rather than treating each area independently.

Design Analysis: The Celestial Language of Light
At Copacabana Palace, the wedding of Luiza Justus and Stephan Panico explored a celestial theme through a sequence of individually conceived interiors. Patricia Vaks did not depend on a literal night-sky backdrop in every room. Instead, the decoration used the idea of stars as a connecting device while allowing each environment to have its own color intensity, from a brighter ceremony to a reception with more dramatic contrast.

The lighting design was central to the concept. Single-bulb suspended fixtures created points of light that suggested stars; the impression changed as guests moved between differently illuminated spaces. This made the celestial references architectural and experiential rather than simply printed on stationery or represented by ornamental motifs.

Orlando Ambrósio supplied the floral component, while furniture from Lona Cristal Eventos and lighting by Two Lights supported Vaks's spatial approach. The project is a useful example of an event where lighting and decoration must be planned together: too much light can dissolve the nocturnal reference, but too little would compromise the flowers, tables and the experience of the guests.

The ceremony and dinner were therefore connected by a narrative more than by identical decorative objects. The official wedding coverage credits Festivita Assessoria for planning and Euka Weddings for photography. The design's distinctive achievement was its ability to transform the classical hotel environment without denying the architectural identity of the Copacabana Palace.
