At The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale, José Graterol Designs created Hannah and Robert's wedding around a modern-romantic palette of purple, black and white. The ceremony introduced that atmosphere through a mirrored runway and an orchid-covered chuppah, two features that used reflection and flowers to create a dramatic central axis.
The chuppah appeared to float beneath the hotel's Swarovski crystal chandelier. This relationship between a floral structure and an existing architectural focal point was integral to the design: the flowers did not hide the room but worked with its lighting and reflective surfaces. Their purple tones gave the predominantly neutral setting its most distinctive accent.
The event's production extended to the reception and dance-floor design. Rather than treating the aisle, ceremonial backdrop and celebration as unrelated installations, the studio coordinated their visual intensity. Glass, mirrors and the orchid color palette gave the project an atmosphere of contemporary luxury.
