Danielle Frankel Hirsch: A New Language for Modern Bridal Dressing

Danielle Frankel Hirsch designs for the many ways people want to celebrate a marriage. Her New York label moves between familiar bridal references and unexpected shapes, preserving romance while challenging the assumption that a wedding wardrobe must follow a single tradition.

A designer with a fashion perspective
Educated at Parsons School of Design, Frankel Hirsch developed an approach that draws on the construction and visual experimentation of ready-to-wear. Her work earned recognition through the 2019 Vogue and CFDA Fashion Fund, where she became the first bridal designer selected to participate.
Sculptural simplicity
The label's aesthetic often combines pared-back surfaces with technically complex cuts and finishing. Fabric, proportion and movement become the central elements of a garment, allowing subtle details to carry the emotional weight of an occasion.

Danielle Frankel operates from New York City's Garment District, offering collections as well as custom handmade work. This proximity to the workshop supports a designer-led approach to personal commissions and new forms of bridal dressing.
Beyond the conventional wedding dress
Frankel Hirsch's practice illustrates the expanding boundaries between bridal and contemporary fashion. Images should show a genuine portrait of the designer and selected dresses from distinct collections, not an unrelated model presented as the creator.
