16Arlington's Spring/Summer 2025 Collection: A Radiant Revival of Color and Craftsmanship

London Fashion Week witnessed a luminous transformation as 16Arlington unveiled its Spring/Summer 2025 collection, marking a significant shift from the brand's previously darker themes. Designer Marco Capaldo drew inspiration from Pedro Almodóvar's film "The Skin I Live In," infusing the collection with a vibrant palette and intricate details that captivated the audience.

The runway at the Royal Academy of Arts was adorned with towering palm tree sculptures by artist Jesse Pollock, setting a celebratory tone enhanced by a cascade of biodegradable confetti. The collection showcased hues of butter yellow, sherbet orange, and mint green, bringing a burst of sunshine to London's fashion scene.

Capaldo's designs featured sheer t-shirts knotted at the bust, python-print panties, and sheer skirts adorned with dip-dyed marabou feathers, blending playful elements with a subtle nod to the film's complex narrative. The craftsmanship was evident in the use of waxed raffia techniques and hand-crocheted beads, with standout pieces like a miniskirt embellished with 57,000 beads highlighting the brand's dedication to detail.
