Editorial Analysis: Greenery at a Family-Home Wedding
Renata Amato Efeiche and Henrique Zuppardo held a wedding at home, placing the ceremony and celebration within a familiar residential setting. The decoration and flowers were a collaboration between Enjoy Festas and Vic Meirelles, with creative responsibilities shared between the collaborators.
The ceremony was arranged around existing greenery, with seating adapted to make effective use of the garden. Afterward, the area was transformed for dinner, where round tables sat beneath a canopy of foliage. This change of function allowed the same outdoor setting to accommodate two different moments without abandoning the natural visual vocabulary.
One particularly distinctive space was the home's orchid-growing area, which became the dessert room. Moss-covered levels and silver trays made the existing plants and reflective objects part of the presentation. The composition was personal because it used a feature already present in the house, rather than inventing an unrelated decorative set.
The wedding source distinguishes the photographers: Flavia Vitória is credited for the couple's portraits, while Alexandre Pirani photographed the decoration. For the decoration itself, the photographs are attributed specifically to Alexandre Pirani. The project illustrates how collaborative floral and scenic work can turn an existing garden into an event environment without erasing its original character.
Design Detail: A Garden Adapted to Two Occasions
The transition from a green ceremony space to a dinner beneath foliage was a central strength of the project. By changing the function of the garden without losing its botanical identity, the designers made the home itself part of the celebration. The orchid-growing room and moss-covered dessert presentation reinforced that close connection to the property.
