Patricia Vaks Turns Villa Riso into an Enchanted Garden
An Enchanted Garden at Villa Riso
For Carol and Antonio's wedding, Patricia Vaks developed a decoration described by the editorial source as an enchanted garden, rich in flowers, foliage and romantic detail.
Layered Botanical Atmosphere
The concept treated the venue as a complete environment rather than a series of isolated arrangements, using botanical density and furniture to create continuity across the celebration.
Production Partners
Flowers were supplied by Orlando Ambrósio, with furniture from Festah Móveis and lighting by Two Lights.

Editorial Analysis: An Enchanted Garden at Villa Riso
Caroline and Antonio's wedding at Villa Riso in Rio de Janeiro centered on a romantic garden atmosphere developed by Patricia Vaks. The decoration combined pink, coral and white flowers with foliage, furniture and an overhead installation that became the room's principal visual feature.
Flowers were suspended above the dessert presentation alongside small candles held in glass globes. This allowed the vertical space to participate in the design, creating the impression that flowers and points of light were floating above the guests. The palette remained soft while the installation itself gave the setting more drama.
Orlando Ambrósio provided the floral component, with furniture by Festah Móveis and scenic lighting by Two Lights. The collaboration was essential because the idea depended on coordination among flowers, structure, lighting and guest movement. Rather than concentrating all the decoration at table level, the team created a layered interior environment.
Photography is credited to Ostonnas, while Claudio Tironi handled the wedding coordination. The project demonstrates how a classic romantic palette can become distinctive through the placement of flowers and light above the reception.
