Isabel Marant Summer 2027: Lightness, Craft and Graphic Confidence

Isabel Marant presented the Summer 2027 collection in Paris on 1 October 2026 under Creative Director Kim Bekker. The collection began with Bekker’s encounter in Los Angeles with Sam Haskins’s 1960s photographs of women, images in which hazy light coexists with a clear sense of strength and sensuality.

Lightness with graphic clarity
That contrast becomes the central proposition of the season: airy dressing grounded by pure, confident shapes. The official collection notes describe a wardrobe that moves between lightness and definition rather than treating softness as fragility.

Craft and the patina of wear
Handwork gives the collection its tactile identity. Vintage-inspired embroidery, rhinestones and beads add weight to fragile silk, while fabrics are chosen for a lived-in patina. The tension between the adorned and the unadorned keeps the runway grounded even when the materials turn delicate.

A confident summer wardrobe
The maison’s notes bring together lace, antique-tablecloth linen, sculpted cotton tailoring, macramé knit and sequined surfaces. Rather than separate romantic and practical elements, Summer 2027 allows them to occupy the same wardrobe, unified by a graphic sense of shape.
