For Spring/Summer 2027, Simon Porte Jacquemus returned to the open air with “Le Bonheur”, staged on the path to the Phare de la Pietra at L’Île-Rousse in Corsica. Sun, wind, sea and color become part of the collection itself, reinforcing a direct idea of summer and the pleasure of simple things.
A wardrobe built for summer
The collection develops sporty silhouettes alongside the precise, playful volumes associated with Jacquemus. Paper-thin leather, bonded crepe, organza treatments and light tailoring move easily in the Corsican wind, while the construction remains controlled and graphic.
Color as atmosphere
Soft pastels are interrupted by vivid accents: yellow, bright green, orange and aquamarine animate an otherwise relaxed palette. Rather than separating clothes from landscape, the show uses the island’s warm light and blue horizon as an active part of the visual composition.
Movement, simplicity and precision
“Le Bonheur” returns to themes that have long defined the house — the Mediterranean, sensual minimalism and sculptural proportion — but with a deliberate sense of ease. A breeze through a shirt, the weight of a skirt or a sharply colored hem carries as much meaning as a complex construction.
