The 82nd Golden Globe Awards, held on January 5, 2025, at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, was a night to remember, celebrating the best in film and television from the past year. Leading the night was "Emilia Pérez," which garnered four awards, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. The film's success was complemented by standout performances, with Demi Moore winning Best Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her role in "The Substance."


In the drama category, "The Brutalist" took home the award for Best Motion Picture – Drama. Adrien Brody's compelling performance in the film earned him the Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama award.


Television Triumphs

On the television front, "Shōgun" dominated with four awards, including Best Drama Series. Anna Sawai's portrayal in the series earned her the Best Actress in a Television Series – Drama award. In the comedy realm, "Hacks" secured the Best Musical or Comedy Series award, further solidifying its place as a fan favorite.


Memorable Moments

The ceremony was not without its share of memorable moments. Host Nikki Glaser delivered a monologue that had the audience in stitches, with jokes that playfully teased attendees, including a light-hearted jab at Timothée Chalamet, much to the amusement of his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner.


Demi Moore's heartfelt acceptance speech was another highlight of the evening. Expressing gratitude for her long-standing career, she dedicated her award to her daughters and emphasized the importance of resilience in the entertainment industry.

Zendaya also made headlines, not just for her impeccable style but for sparking engagement rumors by wearing a notable ring, fueling speculation about her relationship with Tom Holland.
