Launched in 2000, Doors Open Toronto has grown into one of the largest events of its kind in North America. For one weekend each year, museums, theaters, government buildings, historic homes, religious institutions, creative studios, and modern skyscrapers open their doors free of charge. The event allows visitors to discover hidden spaces, learn about Toronto’s history, and experience the stories behind the city’s most fascinating landmarks.
